Justice Department changes to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) became law effective March 15, 2011.  Compliance with these new regulations will be required by March 15, 2012.  The new Standards for Accessible Design impact four areas relating to ATMs: 

Speech	Requires that information presented on the ATM screen and receipt be made available as speech output
Reach	Updates maximum side height reach requirement
Signage	Defines requirements for Braille signage at the ATM
Input Controls	Defines requirements for the tactile controls on the ATM
