Overview
Microfilm scanners are used to digitize archival material stored on microfilm so that it can be stored in an online environment and more easily searched and accessed. Microfilm scanners have made it possible for financial institutions and other organizations that have used microfilm for archival purposes, to put all of their historic transactions within the click of a mouse.
